Globo Rural magazine discusses a study by Imaflora on the reduction in carbon dioxide emissions in the livestock model adopted by Pecsa on the farms the company manages. Several factors contribute to this reduction, among them are the adoption of management techniques and the recovery of degraded pastures.

The director of Governance and Investments at Pecsa, Laurent Micol, also explained that food supplementation has a fundamental role not only in the weight gain of the animals, but also in the carbon balance of the activity by reducing the emissions generated in the digestion of the animals.
